The stories borne on their golden sides are timeless words of wit and wisdom...those AHA! moments of life.  Spiritiles are hand painted on copper in finely ground glass, then fired by kiln at 1500 degrees. It's like drawing with sand, Houston says, then toasting it on a very hot fire.
